What many people knew as Taco Bar El Güero started in a gas station across the street. It wasn’t glamorous, and it wasn’t easy. We transformed a small sandwich deli and beer & wine shop into a taco operation, slowly earning our place in the community.

As our business grew, so did our vision.

Today, El Güero Mexicano lives just across the street in a larger space that finally reflects who we’ve become. The move gave us room to expand, refine our craft, and create a better experience for our guests — while staying true to the flavors, values, and work ethic that got us here in the first place.

Our food is inspired by Mexican street food and home cooking — bold, honest flavors made fresh every day. We remain proudly family-owned and operated, serving our community with the same care and consistency we always have.

If you recognize the man with the beard in our logo, that’s José — someone many of our regulars have known for years. This restaurant is personal to us, and every detail reflects that.
